I am radically ambitious on behalf of communicators, who want to achieve the extraordinary, and through their work contribute to creating a better, fairer, and more peaceful world. People like you.
As a communicator working in Geneva’s NGO sector, you probably recognise one or several of these challenges:
If you can recognise any of the challenges above, then the good news is I’m here to help talented and passionate communicators like you move forward with power and purpose.
Mentoring with Nina combines personal development, mentoring, and community.
In our monthly sessions, you’ll gain clarity on your strengths as a communicator, where you’re at in your present work life, and where you want to be in the future.
On our mentoring calls, you’ll get immediate responses and advice on projects or work relations that challenge you here and now.
Once a month, all mentees meet in Geneva. Each month, we’ll look into a specific case and go through options and opportunities together.
Mentoring with Nina is a personal and professional growth and development process that will help you:
Mentoring with Nina is for ambitious and self-aware communicators working in the NGO sector in Geneva, Switzerland.
It’s for you if you wish to achieve one or more of the following goals:
When you have ended the mentorship programme, you’ll hold the keys to defining and tailoring a work life that you love and energises you – one that doesn’t drain your energy and destroy your work-life balance.
You will become more assertive and feel self-secure as a communicator. It will be easy for you to come up with innovative and creative solutions to projects and campaigns and trust your solutions and instinct.
As a bonus, you’ll also have expanded your network of communicators working in Geneva.
I have more than 17 year’s experience working in strategic communications, public relations, campaigning and media relations, and I have supervised over 50 communicators who have gone on to become experts in the field.
The monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions take place either in-person or virtually over Zoom, and we’ll always start a course by booking the dates in our calendars. The mentoring calls take place when you need them via WhatsApp or your preferred messaging program. The group get-togethers take place monthly on the last Friday of the month from 13.00 to 15.30 at a location central in Geneva and near public transport.
During our free 30-minute discovery call, we’ll talk about some of your dreams, challenges, and the results you would like to achieve. I will tell you what you can expect to get out of Mentoring with Nina, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions. The discovery call takes place virtually on Zoom and is free of charge.
Once we have decided to work together, we will start our first session by creating your career wheel. We will look at what works well, what works less well, and what you would like to improve.
We’ll look into your challenges and your mindset around them. Setting action plans and commitments will be essential. The most important work takes place in-between sessions when you’ll have to implement what you’ve decided to improve, change – or stop doing.
During the four months Mentoring with Nina lasts, you can book eight calls with me to discuss any pressing issue that has arisen. I will give my honest opinion, share my experience, and help you solve the issue as well as I can.
Each month, you’ll be invited to a two-hour get-together with all my mentees in Geneva, where we look into a specific case and go through options and opportunities together. This not only gives you a network (and a cozy get-together) but also concrete learning on the spot which you can use in your own projects.
Did you know that research shows that employees who are mentored have a better career track than those who don’t? This includes receiving higher compensation and more promotions, as well as higher career satisfaction.
Mentoring is a learning relationship where a mentor helps a mentee to grow their skills, make better decisions, and gain new perspectives on their life and career.
The short answer is: yes! As your mentor, I will share of my experience from 17 year’s in the field of communications.
As a coach, I believe you’re the expert on your life and I will not come with advises from my life (unless asked). As a mentor, I will definitely advise and guide you but also help you find the answers within yourself.
All mentoring sessions take place during work hours. One on one sessions can take place at in-person at your work place or virtual.
The one-on-one sessions can be either in-person or virtual on zoom. The monthly group get-together is in person at a central location in Geneva.
